Many different educational videos have tried to prepare youths for the incredible changes that will take place during puberty, and also before/after that time.
On at least two occasions, there were cartoon animations that showed the same kid wearing the same clothes during this period of growth acceleration. Naturally, the clothes became too small for them - link - link @17:18. In these videos the shoes were also overstretched.
The best way to show the growth extent is with "posture poses", where they stand facing the camera in order to clearly show the height increase. But other angles can also work educationally.
It's very good if they wear clothes during this process to avoid showing nudity, which could be controversial in some circles. It's just too shocking for some.
The clothes can't stop the process, they only cover the growth without containing it.
I wish more educational video makers used this method to symbolize the changes of puberty.
